No one seems to be able to beat the two queens from the Olympic Games, Isabell Werth from Germany and Anky van Grunsven from the Netherlands at the present moment. And again today they came in first and second in the FEI World Cup Dressage Freestyle Grand Prix at the JBK Horse Show in Odense. Best Dane was Princess Nathalie zu Sayn Wittgenstein and Digby, who took sixth place. As always Isabell Werth made the difficult exercises look easy on her horse Warum Nicht in today’s competition. There were a few mistakes in the canter-series, but that did not change the fact that she all together rode a well composed and elegant freestyle. Her score was 80.70 percent. Her win was not as superior as yesterdays, because Anky van Grunsven had corrected many of her mistakes from yesterday in today’s freestyle and did excellent on IPS Painted Black. She came in second with the score 79.60. Hans Peter Minderhoud and Exquis Nadine from the Netherlands came in third with the score 77.45. Best placed Dane was Princess Nathalie zu Sayn Wittgenstein with a score of 75.20 percent. There were very few mistakes in her freestyle, but she was not able to make the difficult exercises look as easy as the top three.
