Helgstrand dominated the five-year class at the Danish Equestrian Federation Championship for young dressage horses.
 
14/10/2009: Andreas Helgstrand staked his claim on the top positions at the preliminary rounds of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championships for young dressage horses. Hoennerups Driver by Blue Hors Romanov was awarded first place while Uno Donna Unique by Blue Hors Don Schufro came second. Lord Loxley had to share its third place. All three horses were rid-den by Andreas Helgstrand.
 
Top positions for Helgstrand
Andreas Helgstrand had three beautiful rides when obtaining the three top positions at this year’s preliminary rounds for the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses. Hoennerups Driver by Blue Hors Romanov finished first with a total of 87.4 points. Uno Donna Unique by Don Schufro finished second with a total of 83.0 points. Helgstrand rode Laetare by Lord Loxley to a third place which it shared with Rebelle by Blue Hors Don Schufro ridden by Maria Anita Andersen. Both of the latter horses finished at a total of 82.2 points. Class result

Information on the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses
The final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dres-sage horses takes place at the JBK Horse Shows from 14 to 17 October. The final rounds consist of three parts: a preliminary round, a B-final and an A-final.
In the preliminary round the twelve best placed equipages qualify directly for the A-final while the remaining ones qualify for the B-final. In the B-final the four top horses qualify for the A-final.
With regards to the five- and six-year horses, the eight top equipages from the preliminary round qualify directly for the A-final along with the two top equipages from the B-final.
