14/10/2009: Charmeur and Astrid Gemal were victorious in a close pre-liminary round at the final of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Champion-ship for six-year dressage horses. Blue Hors Hotline with Sune Hansen in the saddle finished second while Robbie W. and Maria Anita Andersen came third.

Advancement for Charmeur
Astrid Gemal and the big, red gelding, Charmeur by Crelido looked like an equipage eager to reach a better result than last year’s fifth place in the final of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses. The equipage gave a convincing performance which was rewarded with 84.4 points thus securing victory. The equipage started second to last at the JBK Horse Shows and thus stole victory from Blue Hors Hotline which had been the front-runner up until then.

Regrettable miss for Hotline
Blue Hors Hotline by Hofrat and Sune Hansen were in the lead almost until the end of the preliminary round at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Cham-pionship for six-year dressage horses. However, the equipage was overtaken by Charmeur and Astrid Gemal. Thus the final result of 82.8 points qualified them for a second place. Hotline who won last year’s final for five-year horses moved with ease and concentration. Unfortunately, the horse missed the flying changes as it bucked slightly. This caused a deduction of 2.1 points.

Robbie W. fought its way to the podium
The last of the six-year horses in the preliminary round at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses was the lit-tle gray gelding Robbie W. by Robin Royal ridden by Maria Anita Andersen. The bright gelding was complimented by the judges for its well-marked steps in all three paces. With a total of 82.4 points Robbie W. and Andersen pushed Quite Lovely by Quite Easy and Karin Nissen from the third place.
