15/10/2009: In the B-final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for six-year dressage horses Atterupgaards Cassidy by Caprimond finished first and Welt Tiara by Weltjunge finished second. The two horses thus qualified for the championship final on Friday 16 October at the JBK Horse Shows.
Victory for Atterupgaards Cassidy
With Sabine Natalia Petersen in the saddle the gelding Atterupgaards Cassidy had a great performance and finished first with a total of 77.8 points in the final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for six-year dressage horses. This was rewarded with a place in the final Friday 16 October at the JBK Horse Shows.
Welt Tiara in the final
The little chestnut mare Welt Tiara ridden by Katja Berg finished second in the B-final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses. Despite faults in both flying changes the horse scored 76.6 points. Like the first place, the second place qualifies the horse directly for the A-final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses.
Third place for Uno Don Diego
Uno Don Diego by Dressage Royal with Thomas Lassen in the saddle performed at a total of 75.2 points which secured the equipage third place.
Information on the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses
The final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses takes place at the JBK Horse Shows from 14 to 16 October. The final rounds consist of three parts: a preliminary round, a B-final and an A-final. In the preliminary round the twelve best placed equipages qualify directly for the A-final while the remaining ones qualify for the B-final. In the B-final the four top horses qualify for the A-final. With regards to the five- and six-year horses, the eight top equipages from the preliminary round qualify directly for the A-final along with the two top equipages from the B-final.
