Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein won the Grand Prix Special
 
16.10.2009: The reigning Danish champion, Princess Nathalie won the international three-star Fyens Stiftstidende Cup at the JBK Horse Shows Friday 16 October. Swedish Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén came second while the Dutch rider Aat Van Essen came third.
 
Victory for the princess
Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein repeated her successful performance from Thursday’s Grand Prix when she did a beautiful dressage programme at the Grand Prix Special, Fyens Stiftstidende Cup, Friday 16 October. Along with her Olympic horse, Digby, she received a total score of 73.66 percent. The first place comes with a prize of 1700 Euros.
 
Swedish National Team rider came second
Just like the Princess Nathalie, Swedish National Team rider Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén had a repeat success when she came second in the Grand Prix Special, Fyens Stiftstidende Cup on the ten-year gelding Favourit, a horse that she acquired this spring.
 
German rider Sabine Becker came third
At the JBK Horse Shows German rider Sabine Becker finished third in the Fyens Stiftstidende Cup. Becker and her 13-year-old gelding Lamarc WRT scored a total of 69.83 percent and received 900 Euros for the performance. Becker also came third in the Grand Prix Thursday.
 
Other Danish contestants
The other Danish contestants in the Fyens Stiftstidende Cup were Lotte Vagner on Tannenhofs Solero and Lone Madsen on Skovlunds Don Gazzo who came sixth and ninth respectively.
