16/10/2009: Charmeur and Astrid Gemal were victorious in the final Friday 16 October at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for six-year dressage horses at the JBK Horse Shows. Sune Hansen came second on Blue Hors Hotline while Quite Lovely strolled into third place with Karin Nissen in the saddle.
Charmeur won the championship
The big red gelding Charmeur by Crelido delivered a beautiful programme with Astrid Gemal in the saddle at the final of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for six-year dressage horses. The equipage was rewarded with a total score of 86.60 percent from the judges which ensured them the top position. The score was even a little better than Charmeur’s result in the preliminary round which he won as well. Last year Charmeur finished fifth in the Championship for five-year horses. Charmeur is bred by Gitte Søgaard and Michael Hove who live in Thy in northern Denmark.
Blue Hors Hotline and Sune Hansen came second
Blue Hors Hotline by Hofrat, ridden by Sune Hansen, repeated its performance from the preliminary round and once again finished second in the final of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for young dressage horses. The long-legged equipage received a total of 85.50 percent from the judges. Blue Hors Hotline is bred in Germany and approved for breeding by Danish Warmblood, Swedish Warmblood, the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Society and several others.
Quite Lovely advanced to third place
The Swedish Warmblood gelding Quite Lovely by Quite Easy finished third at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for six-year dressage horses. The horse, ridden by Karin Nissen, scored a total of 84.20 percent. This meant that the equipage advanced from a fourth place in the preliminary round to a third place in the final.
