17/10/2009: Rikke Lindberg and Brooklands Moonwalker wowed the judges in the final of the Pony Masters at the JBK Horse Shows Saturday 17 October. Dana Van Lierop finished second on Wengelo’s Ricardo and Anne Fabricius Tange on Tim came third. In the final of the junior freestyle SEC DataCom Cup Cathrine Dufour had a sweeping victory on Cadillac. Nanna Skodborg Merrald came second on Millibar and Dana Van Lierop finished third on Shamrock.
Rikke Lindberg was victorious in the CHT Pony Master
Rikke Lindberg and the impressive pony stallion Brooklands Moonwalker shone in the CHT Pony Masters at the JBK Horse Shows in Odense. With a total result of 74.15 percent the experienced equipage won the freestyle. The accompanied by music they had a consistent programme in which their star turn, the hovering trot, was particularly successful.
Rikke Lindberg stated that the second highlight of the equipage was the fact that she managed to maintain a good neck bend on Brooklands Moonwalker.
Dana van Lierop finished second in the Pony Masters
The Dutchwoman Dana Van Lierop and Wengelo’s Ricardo moved elegantly round the arena accompanied by Emilia’s ‘Big Big World’ and Natalie Imbruglia’s ‘Torn’. The dark bay Ricardo and Dana Van Lierop landed a total score of 72.80 percent. This ensured the equipage the second place and a prize of 3000 DKK. They also finished second in the preliminary round.
Anne Fabricius Tange came third
Anne Fabricius Tange and Tim finished third in the CHT Pony Masters. Anne Fabricius Tange’s choice of music was among other things ‘YMCA’ by the Village People. The brisk music suited the equipage well and the judges rewrded them with a total score of 72.15 percent.
Cathrine Dufour had a superior victory in the SEC DataCom Cup
Cathrine Dufour and the chestnut gelding Cadillac proved superior in the SEC DataCom Cup at the JBK Horse Shows in Odense Saturday 17 October. This class was a freestyle for junior riders under 18 where the equipages are accompanied by music of their own choice. Cathrine Dufour and Cadillac were rewarded with 75.45 percent from the judges – an impressive 5 percent more than the runner-up – and 4000 DKK in prize money.
Nanna Skodborg Merrald came second
Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Millibar finished second in the SEC DataCom Cup. Their performance was rewarded with a total score of 70.80 percent and a prize of 3000 DKK.
Dana Van Lierop came third
Dana Van Lierop and Shamrock finished third in the SEC DataCom Cup at the JBK Horse Shows on 17 October. The Dutch equipage received a total of 65.65 percent and a prize of 2000 DKK. The class only had four competing riders as two did not turn up.
