18/10/2009: Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Casall La Silla rode off with the victory and a KIA estate car in the three-star final of the Big Tour, Kia Motors Grand Prix. Tina Lund finished second on A-dur R and Daniel Zetterman came third on Glory Days.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson triumphed in difficult jumping Grand Prix
The world renowned Swede Rolf-Göran Ericsson and his stallion Casall La Silla won the challenging KIA Motors Grand Prix at the JBK Horse Shows 18 October. The unusually difficult course had 150 cm jumps. Only four of the 44 equipages qualified for the jump-off by having a clear round. In the jump-off, Rolf-Göran Ericsson repeated his feat from the first round by not only having a clear round, but also having the fastest round in 35.43 seconds.
Tina Lund finished second in the Big Tour final
Riding her star horse A-dur R, Tina Lund came second in the KIA Motors Grand Prix. The equipage repeated their performance from the first round by having a clear round in the jump-off. Tina Lund did her round in 37.70 seconds which ensured her the second place and a silver Böckmann trailer.
Daniel Zettermann came third
The young Swedish rider Daniel Zettermann finished third in the KIA Motors Grand Prix. On the gray horse Glory Days, Daniel Zettermann had no faults in neither his first round nor in the jump-off. A round in 38.60 seconds ensured him the third place which came with a prize of 35.000 DKK.
