Danish bid to host the FEI European Championships in 2013

08.07.2010: Denmark is bidding to host the FEI European Dressage and Jumping Championships in 2013. JBK Horse Shows, Sport Event Denmark, City of Herning and the Danish Equestrian Federation work together in creating the best European equestrian event ever. The showground at MCH Arena and the surrounding area make it possible to take the championships to heigher levels. To ensure the best conditions for the participants the organizing comittee is listening closely to the riders wishes.

A superior Anky van Grunsven won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle by ECCO Shoes

 
18/10/2009: Anky van Grunsven was victorious in the freestyle at the season’s first FEI World Cup qualifier sponsored by ECCO Shoes which was held at the JBK Horse Shows in Odense. With a superior and softly flowing ride on the jet-black horse Salinero, Anky van Grunsven claimed the first place. Edwards Gal finished second on Sisther de Jeu while Patrick Kittel finished third. The best of the Danish contestants was Andreas Helgstrand on Tannhof’s Carabas who finished ninth.

18 October 2009: Levante 14 and Søren Pedersen was the best equipage in the Stutteri Ask Youngsters Cup Final at the JBK Horse Shows. In this class for seven and eight-year horses Torben Frandsen finished second on It’s Catweazle while Damien Haltermann came third on Cupido De Laubry.

18/10/2009: Søren Pedersen and Chesmo won the three-star Dominio de Pingus Cup at the JBK Horse Shows Sunday 18 October. The Norwegian rider Iselin Gjendemsjo and Rock’n Roll 19 finished second and was followed by Marie Moesgaard on Corland Dane in third place.

Tina Lund won a Rolex watch after a superior victory in the Ragnar and Rolex Speed Final

 
18/10/2009: On Zamiro, Tina Lund won the three-star Small Tour, Ragnar and Rolex Speed Final the evening of Saturday 17 October. The equipage was incomparable with a fast, clean round. Another Dane, Jennifer Fogh Pedersen, finished second on Nocage De La Pesrelle. Norwegian rider Victoria Gulliksen finished third on Lord II Z. Great prizes were at stake in the Ragnar and Rolex Speed Final: a total of 150,000 DKK including two Rolex watches.

17/10/2009: Dutch rider Anky van Grunsven was greatly superior in the FEI World Cup Grand Prix at the JBK Horse Shows on her Olympic horse Salinero. Fellow Dutchman, European Champion Edward Gal, finished second on the mare Sisther de Jeu and Monica Theodorescu on Whisper finished third. Andreas Helgstrand on Tannenhof’s Carabas was the best of the Danish particiants.

17/10/2009: Rikke Lindberg and Brooklands Moonwalker wowed the judges in the final of the Pony Masters at the JBK Horse Shows Saturday 17 October. Dana Van Lierop finished second on Wengelo’s Ricardo and Anne Fabricius Tange on Tim came third. In the final of the junior freestyle SEC DataCom Cup Cathrine Dufour had a sweeping victory on Cadillac. Nanna Skodborg Merrald came second on Millibar and Dana Van Lierop finished third on Shamrock.

14/10/2009: Andreas Helgstrand staked his claim on the top positions at the preliminary rounds of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championships for young dressage horses. Hoennerups Driver by Blue Hors Romanov was awarded first place while Uno Donna Unique by Blue Hors Don Schufro came second. Lord Loxley had to share its third place. All three horses were rid-den by Andreas Helgstrand.

14.10.2009: As one of the last horses of the class, Toerveslettens Stamina with Anne Blomgren in the saddle trotted its way to victory in the preliminary round of the final at the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Championship for four-year-old dressage horses. With high knee action and energetic self-confidence, the large, grey mare seemed to enjoy the audience’s admiration. Sieger Hit came second and Tailormade Lancelot finished third.

13/10/2009: The best dressage riders from the World Cup qualifier in the Western European League at JBK Horse Shows in Denmark can be seen live on FEI TV Sunday October 18th. FEI TV broadcasts from the World Cup Freestyle, where the winner of the World Cup qualifier will be found. Changes in time for vet check and DRF Championships

10/10/2009: This year the judges have chosen to introduce new exercises in the finals for the 4 years old horses in the Danish Equestrian Federations (DRF) Championships in dressage. The starting times for the preliminary rounds in the DRF Championships for the 4, 5 and 6- years old horses are also changed, and there are changes in time for the veterinary checks at JBK Horse Shows. This goes for the participants in the Danish Equestrian Federations Championships for young horses, the international jumping classes and the three-star dressage (CDI***).

31/08/2009: Propositions for JBK Horse Shows and ECCO shoe have now been published on the website. The World Cup event in 2009 is even larger and more spectacular than last year with an extended program in the entire period of 10 days.

Isabell Werth did it again. And won a car!

No one seems to be able to beat the two queens from the Olympic Games, Isabell Werth from Germany and Anky van Grunsven from the Netherlands at the present moment.
And again today they came in first and second in the FEI World Cup Dressage Freestyle Grand Prix at the JBK Horse Show in Odense. Best Dane was Princess Nathalie zu Sayn Wittgenstein and Digby, who took sixth place.

Isabell Werth won the FEI World Cup Grand Prix brilliantly!

The competition was fierce as several of the rides achieved impressive results at the OL in Hong Kong. Gold, silver and bronze medals are trophies that several of the rides in the World Cup Grand Prix already own.
Isabell Werth and Warum Nicht was the last equipage and they did brilliantly. Warum Nicht was impressive with massive pace and very few mistakes which resulted in a score of 77.625%.

Live streaming from JBK Horseshows FEI World Cup qualifier is very popular!


Wednesday 15th October was the first day with live streaming and the service was popular. 11.154 unique users were registered during the day and the average usage time was between 13 and 18 minutes. The live streaming is done from both arenas and the arena showing dressage had 6.493 unique users with an average of 18 minutes of viewing pr. user. From the arena showing jumping 4.661 unique users spent an average of 13 minutes each on the live streaming.

The live streaming also reaches an international audience and almost 30% of the viewers are from abroad. German viewers are by far the largest group but also viewers from Japan and the US are using the live streaming facilities.
