Nathalie zu Sayn Wittgenstein
She was a part of the dressage team which won Olympic bronze for Denmark, she is the best Danish dressage rider, and she has won both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special in Aachen in 2009. Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein has never been as good as now and with her horses Digby and Rigoletto she has gone from strength to strength through both Denmark and Europe.
In harmony with the horse
With her gentle and smooth riding Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein is respected worldwide for her contact and harmony with the horses. With her two Grand Prix horses Digby and Rigoletto, she has gone victorious through lots of competitions. That Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein has bred both horses and trained them to the Grand Prix level herself only increases the respect for the rider and it demonstrates her great patience and determination. Qualities which the talented rider has shown from childhood.
A life with horses
When Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein was 10 years old she witnessed dressage at the highest level at the European Championships in Copenhagen in 1985, and from that moment she knew what she wanted in life. She wanted to be a dressage rider at the highest level. And after having achieved success at the greatest dressage arenas around the world, Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein has achieved her goal. In the Olympics in Hong Kong, she rode the ride of her life and got the highest score of the team. A score that was crucial for winning the first Danish medal at the Olympics Games.
